I would like to share something that just happened a few days ago. We needed to get some much needed medication, but realized when we got to the drug store we didn't have enough money to get it along with a few other thing plus a small light bulb for our car. that had just blown as we got there and it was night so we didn't want to take any chances. We knew we didn't have enough cash to get everything so we checked everywhere, purse, wallet and car. What we did find was not enough cash. Terry went in to see what the cost would be. He was counting out how much he had when a lady came over to him and handed his some money. He told her no and she said, "No, you must take this, Jesus told me to give it to you." He said no again and she repeated herself and she insisted. He didn't want to, but he did thank her and took it. She said, "You're welcome" and she walked away. He went to get the things he needed and it was the exact amount that she had given him. Terry cried when he told me, then we both cried. God is so good and He is always right on time. Thank You Jesus for always looking out for us. Praise God! (We shall pay it forward.)

Freed From Addiction
I began my journey at the age of fourteen with mind controlling substances of Weed (Marijuana) and Alcohol. From the young age of fourteen to the age of forty I went through many different levels of highs (or should I say lows?) Along with the Weed and Alcohol I went into THC, Mescaline, Acid (Botter and Pill) and Cocaine. There were a couple times where I got to a point when I thought I would not be coming back, but by the grace of God I survived.
I knew it was just a matter of time when the end would be coming, but I guess God had other plans. My wife convinced me to go to her church one night where there was going to be a visiting Pastor. Against my will I chose to go. That night the Spirit of God came into my life, and I chose to walk a safer and healthier path with Jesus. Now, at the age of forty I could see a possible future with a clear head.
I am now sixty-six and have been clean for twenty-six years. Has it been easy, not at all. At the beginning I was tempted many times, but by the power of Jesus I was able to overcome.
